Observation of Constitution Day (26th Nov 2024). The day serves as a reminder of the fundamental principles outlined in the Indian Constitution and the significance of preserving our democratic values.
One of the primary roles of education in preventing domestic violence is to raise awareness among students. Arranging awareness programs on Domestic violence in the educational institutions aim to educate students to identify it's various forms, understanding the impact & knowing the various legal provisions for safeguard. Having these objectives in mind, the WOMEN CELL of the college organized a awareness program (20th Nov, 2024) on the issue to foster awarenes, promote understanding, and to encourages proactive measures.
A Blood donation camp has been organized by our NSS unit in collaboration with Cachar Cancer hospital Silchar. Many students, Teachers, Staff members and local people have came forward voluntarily and participated enthusiastically in this blood donation program . It is a way of Satya Ranjan College's gesture in bringing a ray of hope to contribute to the serious problems of acute shortage of blood. While addressing to the people our NSS volunteers brought awareness in them about shortage of blood and why we must donate blood , it is to help the persons requiring blood. Blood donation can save lives of innumerable persons. Donation of blood is very critical and crucial for saving lives of many patients and those who have met with accidents. Let us all join the effort and save lives”
